Winter finally arrived with 8 inches of snow and a foot and a half of wind. Plowing went on all day because of drifting snow.

The picture below shows a drift near the cannons that I've never seen before. It may have formed because part of the mill is no longer there to block the wind coming down the bog. I think there will be other interesting drifts on Main Street when the mill is gone.
