Seeking The Falls
Part 2 - The Walk In

It was a beautiful day in March. The air was cool
but the sun shone brightly. Our trek began on an
old dirt road, still soggy from melting snow. As you can see, a small
mutiny occurred. Paco got a look at the map. He decided provisions were
not necessary and refused to carry them. So we pressed on without
supplies. What could I do? I was already carrying my camera and enough
ChapStick to last for the entire journey. |

| We followed the road past a bog, still frozen. The ice was frosty white, beginning to melt, loosing its winter grip on the wetland. |

After crossing a field, we followed a path that lead up hill to an old cedar cutting. Ancient stumps sat warming in the early spring sun. |
| Paco realized that this path was moving away from the stream. He lead us back downhill into the woods. |
