This picture looks west onto Main Street from the Exeter Road, not far from the present location of the Post Office drive way.

This is Main Street, looking east. The camera was near Ed Leavitt's Barber Shop. 

Around the corner from Main Street on the Newport Road, this drift is in front of the doorway to the apartment were I lived until I was about 7 years old. People all over central Maine faced this kind of digging out after the storm.
