The final stage of the soil decontamination process happens in these devices. Hot air from the soil beds is pulled into a series of condensation tanks (light blue, above). Here the excess water is removed. Finally, as the air moves through a charcoal filtering system in these gray tanks, the chlorobenzene is removed before the air is released. |
