Busy
day in Corinna...In a press conference held this afternoon on the trail
bridge, the Department of Conservation's Maine Forest Service announced
that Corinna has been chosen as a Project Canopy Model Town.
Fawn Davis Condon and Judy Doore spoke along with Project Canopy's program
director, Kevin Doran. The program will provide technical assistance and
much more in a comprehensive community forestry initiative. Residents
helped plant a red maple to commemorate the town's partnership with
Project Canopy.
